About this workshop
This 1-Day introductory workshop is for anyone interested in improving their eyesight especially those with visual dysfunctions such as short sightedness, presbyopia, astigmatism, glaucoma, cataracts, squints, light sensitivity and floaters.
During this workshop you will
- understand the visual process and your unique visual function
- be introduced to the principles of the Eyebody method
- explore connections between eye, brain and body
- take your first steps without glasses
- learn easy to do visual practices to take with you
About the Eyebody Principles
When the brain changes, the eyes and body follow, including the emotional and spiritual aspects of our being. From this integral perspective we can relate to the outside world in a connected and conscious way. In a concrete sense we can apply these principles to any activity. Examples include computing, reading, walking, speaking and listening, playing a musical instrument, dancing, singing, and playing sports. In a deeper and broader sense, the work supports relationships, authentic communication, leadership, creating a vision for a project or for ones life as a whole.
About Your Teacher
Matthias Erdrich trained under Peter Grunwald, the founder of the Eyebody Method. Peter was strongly shortsighted and after improving his own eyesight naturally, he formulated principles which are applied to the subtle workings of the brain and the visual system.
Practising the Eyebody principles helps to create a sense of ease, effectiveness, and flow in whatever we are doing.
